Orange Virginia Bed and Breakfast Voted best B&B for a Wine Weekend by readers of VIrginia Wine Lovers

Ducard Vineyard

///Ducard Vineyard

 Initially the wine makers at Ducard Vineyard sold their  grapes to a winery up the road, and wines that included their grapes won a number of awards, including the Virginia Governor’s Cup as the best wine in the state and the Best Wine in the East (out of 1,400 entries) in another competition. So they decided to begin bottling a small amount of wine under their own label, exclusively for friends and neighbors and a small but growing email list of “fans and followers.”  They have since opened a nice tasting room and opened to the public on weekends.

Located at 40 Gibson Hollow Lane, Etlan VA 22719. Between Madison and Sperryville off of route 231 and up against the Shenandoah National Park to our west.

Open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays plus Monday holidays, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and by appointment.

In harvest and leaf color season – September, October, November we are open 7 days a week, 11-6.

Regular walk-in wine tasting fees for individuals, couples and small groups are $8 per person (effective 4/1/15) with a credit back if you buy two bottles or more (most people find at least two things they like- we hope !). Reservations not required. Sodas and water available with their compliments for non-drinkers or designated drivers.
