We offer family and pet friendly accommodations in the historic town of Orange, at our Virginia Bed & Breakfast.
Located on 28 acres guests are welcome to explore our walking trails, pick berries and wildflowers and kick back in our large game room complete with billiards table, flat screen TV, Wii with Instant Netflix and other games. We are perfect for quick romantic get aways, family reunions, small group gatherings, Garden Weddings and private parties.
All of our rooms are decorated with your comfort in mind. The beds have firm mattresses and clean comfortable bedding. All rooms have private baths stocked with Traders Joe’s shampoo and conditioner, fine soap and fluffy robes.

A full country breakfast cooked to order is included with your stay at our Bed and Breakfast Virginia. Special Diets are my specialty as a Dukan Dieter, I understand the importance of eating healthy and according to each persons culinary requirements. Gluten free, Vegan, Dukan, Allergies and Healthy heart are all no problem. I am always up for a culinary challenge! Just feel free to let me know your preferences.
As On site owners Marty and I are available throughout your stay to provide personal service. If you notice anything out of place at our Virginia Bed and breakfast during your visit just let us know we will gladly take care of it right away.
This July we celebrated our 10th Anniversary of moving to the Inn on Poplar Hill. What a great decision it was to escape the hectic life in the Washington DC suburbs to the quite county life in a small town. Read our story. As members of the Bed and Breakfast Association of Virginia, and one of the founding members of the Inns at Montpelier we network with the owners bed and breakfast owners. If we have no availability at our Central Virginia bed and breakfast we are happy to recommend one of the other fine Virginia Bed & Breakfasts in the area for your visit.
If you are interested in visiting some of the outstanding Virginia Wineries and Vineyards in the area, we highly recommend scheduling a Vino Vans Wine Tour. The professional Vino Vans driver will pick you up at our Virginia bed and Breakfast and escort you to three to four Central Virginia Wineries. The Wine Tour includes a gourmet picnic lunch packed by the chef at the Inn at Meander Plantation. We offer complementary wine passes for several local wineries, including: Barborousville Vineyards, Keswick Vineyards, Castle Hill Cider, Cooper Vineyards, and Prince Michele.
